// how credits work

One currency for every audit

Credits are the unit everything is priced in — spent on exactly the work the swarm does.

Scans are metered

Every audit spends what it actually costs — quoted in credits before the scan runs.

Add a repo = one full audit

Connecting a repository includes its first full audit. After that, you only pay to re-scan.

Re-audits spend too

Scheduled re-audits spend credits only when your code changed — unchanged repos skip free.

Reset monthly

Your balance refills at the start of each cycle. Unused credits don't roll over.

Run out before the month is up? Top up in 5,000-credit blocks — without changing your subscription.
// questions

Pricing, answered

01 What exactly is a credit?
A credit is the unit audits are priced in. Scans are metered: each run is quoted in credits up front and spends exactly that quote or less. Your monthly amount is how many credits you want available each cycle.
02 Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits are a monthly allowance and reset at the start of each cycle. Pick an amount that matches how much you actually ship — you can change it any time.
03 What happens if I run out mid-month?
Top up in 5,000-credit blocks without changing your subscription. Or bump your monthly amount up — the change takes effect immediately.
04 Can I change my credit amount?
Yes. Increasing your amount takes effect immediately with a fresh cycle. Decreasing applies at your next renewal, so you keep the credits you've already paid for this month.
05 What counts as a scan?
Running an audit on a repository — on demand or on a schedule. Adding a new repository includes its first full audit. Re-audits only re-attack what changed, and an unchanged repo skips free.
06 Is my source code stored?
No. unpwnd clones your repo read-only into an ephemeral sandbox that's wiped when the scan ends. Only the findings persist — never your code.
